Design engineering support

CAD design and engineering support for Orlando.

Our Apopka team helps Orlando and Central Florida customers turn ideas, sketches, samples, and existing CAD into a practical manufacturing plan. Start here for models, drawings, file cleanup, or fit and tolerance review.

Our Apopka shop handles one-off and low-volume projects. We confirm the process, materials, and timing when reviewing your quote.

Design review support

  • Part geometry clean-up and repair
  • Feature naming, version alignment, and release notes
  • CAD-to-manufacturing handoff guidance
  • Drawings, notes, and revision control
  • Fitment checks and interface clarifications
  • Pre-production scope planning

Common inputs we need

  • Function and critical dimensions
  • Quantity targets near term and at scale
  • Environment, load, and wear expectations
  • Finish and packaging preferences
  • Budget ceiling for first quoted pass
  • Timing goals and review availability

CAD models and manufacturing drawings

A model describes the shape; a drawing communicates the dimensions, tolerances, material, finish, and notes that need attention. We review what your project already has and scope the additional work needed for a quote or build.

For an assembly, include the surrounding parts and explain where components mount, move, or connect. For a physical sample with no source files, 3D scanning and reverse engineering may help establish the starting geometry.

Design for the manufacturing process

We connect design decisions to the proposed process: printed parts, machined or formed metal, and formed or molded plastics need different reviews. Quantity, material, critical fits, and finish help determine the useful changes.

Tell us the intended use, operating conditions, current revision, first-build quantity, desired date, and which decisions are still open. We agree the deliverables and review points before paid design work begins.

Design and CAD support are available from our Apopka shop. A prototype can help evaluate the design before a larger order. Any formal validation or certification requirements should be identified at quote time and scoped separately.

Need help before you upload?

Our engineering team can review a requirement list first, then we confirm the minimum manufacturing-ready set.
